Harris Weaving Looms

The HARRIS LOOMS division of Emmerich (Berlon) Ltd makes handweaving equipment
in Kent where Dr. Harris first produced his famous table loom in 1939. Supplied
worldwide to craft weavers, schools, colleges and to textile designers for
sample making.
The principles of his design in hardwood with an easy action shedding
mechanism are continued to this day. In 1980 the option of electronic
pattern control was added and the loom was linked to the computer
liberating the textile designer from many repetitive tasks.
